Max Neunhöffer is a mathematician turned database developer. In his academic career he has worked for many years on the development and implementation of new algorithms in computer algebra. During this time he has juggled a lot with mathematical big data like group orbits containing trillions of points.
Jan is a developer with ArangoDB since version 0.0.1. He works on the core components, such as the query language (AQL), the storage engine, and performance optimizations. He originally intended to work in the field of economics, but somehow signed up to IT jobs and stuck with them ever since.

Ewout is an all-round senior software developer / entrepreneur who loves to solve complex technical problems to make life easier for real end users. Having seen lots of programming languages, he prefers to use whatever language fits the problem at hand.
Kaveh, Master in theoretical physics in Cologne, Zuerich and Bonn. Ph.D. in physics. Joined ArangoDB after medical imaging research and lecturing at Juelich Research Center, RWTH Aachen University, Maastricht University and New York University. He joined ArangoDB in 2016 as a core software engineer. He has been responsible for the development of core facilities in the ArangoDB cluster; among them the consensus infrastructure.
Jörg Schad is the CTO at ArangoDB. In a previous life, he has worked on or built machine learning pipelines in healthcare, distributed systems at Mesosphere, and in-memory databases. He received his Ph.D. for research around distributed databases and data analytics. He’s a frequent speaker at meetups, international conferences, and lecture halls.

Chris has over ten years of experience at all technology angles, including service, support, and development. He continues his trend of being a versatile technologist at ArangoDB as a Developer Relations Engineer. Chris believes the future is native multi-model and is determined to tell the world.
