Harnessing the power of ArangoDB views of type 'arangosearch'
In this tutorial, we explain the basic usage of ArangoSearch – one of the implementations of an ArangoDB view engine/concept, namely an ArangoDB view of type
arangosearch, for simplicity subsequently referenced simply as
ArangoSearch is a new feature of the upcoming ArangoDB 3.4 release, first introduced in the Milestone version. To go through this tutorial, please download and install the Milestone of the upcoming ArangoDB 3.4.
Please note that this is a Milestone release: it is not feature complete nor suitable for production usage, and is for testing purposes only. If you already have ArangoDB installed, please remember to backup your data and run an upgrade after installing the Milestone release.
