Download ArangoDB for Ubuntu

Please find below the packages for the Release Candidate 4 of ArangoDB 3.5 – for testing purposes only!

The release candidate is feature complete and contains all enhancements that will be released with the GA. However, there are known issues, see known issues in the Release Candidate 4 of ArangoDB 3.5 . Especially, when you are testing the candidate on an existing dataset follow the instruction in the link above and always use a copy of your data! Never try it on a productive dataset. In case that your data from ArangoDB 3.4 contains views, you need to delete the views first. Do not use the automatic update procedure.

The following packages are for Debian-based Linux distributions.

The processor(s) must support the SSE 4.2 instruction set (Intel Nehalem or better, AMD Bulldozer or better, etc.)

We provide a single package containing the server and the client tools. For a standard server setup, download the Server package and install it using the package manager. You do not need the separate client tools.

The Client Tools package only contains the tools, like arangosh and arangodump, but not the server. Use this in case you are already running ArangoDB on a different machine and want to connect to that server from a client machine.

As an alternative there is a Tar package containing the server and client tools, which can be unpacked in any location and which does not require root rights for installation.
